Nudist Estate 'Charco del Palo' on Lanzarote / Canary Islands / Spain

The Environment

'Charco del Palo' is a quiet nudism estate for people who seek relaxation. It is situated in the Northeast of Lanzarote near Mala and approx. 25 km away from the airport (map).
The nudism estate extends onto the Atlantic Ocean and everybody can move around as he pleases. Dressing rules exist only for shops and restaurants.

'Charco del Palo' consists of some apartment complexes, the main area being taken up by privately owned spacious villas and bungalows. The permanent residents are mostly Germans, but there are also people from the Canary Islands, Mainland Spain, Austria and Switzerland.

Shops and Restaurants

A little supermarket, a hairdresser and a boutique can easily be reached on foot. More shopping can be done in Guatiza (4 km) and in the fishermen's village of Arrieta (6 km). Within the settlement 'Charco del Palo' you have a choice of four bars and restaurants, where there are grill and music soirées organized regularly.

Who looks for more evening entertainment, the next place to go would be the tourist area of Costa Teguise (approx. 12 km). There are good fish restaurants to be found in Arrieta.
English is also spoken in the shops and restaurants of 'Charco del Palo'.

Hiking, Swimming, Scuba Diving

The coast is formed by volcanic rock with various foot paths and many little resting places. There is a natural pool and a beautiful bay for swimming.

Snorkel and scuba diving fans find the most perfect conditions here. Nevertheless, the beach area is not very suitable for disabled people.
