Costa Teguise

Costa Teguise is one of the main tourist resorts of Lanzarote. It is situated in the North-eastern part of the Island, only a few kilometres away from its capital Arrecife.

Costa Teguise - which in English translation is "The coast of Teguise" - belongs to the municipality of Teguise (by the natives also called "La Villa") that had been the capital of Lanzarote up to the last century.

Only during the last approximately 15 years, Costa Teguise has been developing into a placid holiday resort with all conveniences.

You will find hotels of a particularly high standard, many of them in the four-star and five-star class.

The largest white beach 'Las Cucharas' is well-known and famous for its optimal conditions for wind surfers, but also for holiday makers who want to relax in placid surroundings.

Just outside of Costa Teguise on the road to Tahiche you will find an aquatic park called 'Agua Parque' and the recognised golf course of the island.
